Michelob Ultra Arena

Activation Staff at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas

Michelob ULTRA Arena is the 12,000-seat arena inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It opened with the resort as the Mandalay Bay Events Center, took its current name in 2021 and is now the home court of the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, as well as a stage for concerts, college basketball, fight nights and conference keynotes. Eleven8 provides arena event staff for concourse tables and brand spaces, brand ambassadors, production assistants and suite hosts to the brands and agencies that hold space at those events.

Unlike a stand-alone stadium, this arena has no plaza or parking lot of its own for a brand to take over. Fans arrive through the resort: from hotel rooms in Mandalay Bay, Delano and the Four Seasons, from dinner in the resort's restaurants, off the free tram from Excalibur and Luxor, or from rideshare drop-offs at the main entrance. Most of them reach the arena doors in the last forty minutes before the event starts. A concourse table, a suite or a private room in the resort is therefore where brand work happens, and the busiest stretch is short, so we place staff where that walk ends rather than spread them thinly across the building.

The crowd also changes more from night to night than at most arenas. An Aces game in July brings Las Vegas families and season-ticket holders who live in the valley; a Latin music tour fills the seats with fans who would rather hear your offer in Spanish; November brings two college fan bases at once; and a conference at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center next door may hold its morning keynote here in business dress. Each crew is briefed on the night in front of it, not on the building in general.

To start, tell us the event and date, the space you have secured with the arena or the event's organizer, what guests should do there and any suite or private room you are hosting. You receive a staffing plan with a price and the profiles of Las Vegas staff to pick from, and check-in staff and suite hosts for your guest lists can be added to the same booking.

Planning Brand Staff for a Michelob ULTRA Arena Event

Every booking at Michelob ULTRA Arena runs through the same eleven steps, adjusted for the kind of night it is. An Aces game, a concert, a college tournament day and a morning keynote share one arena but start at different hours, draw different people and give a brand a different number of minutes, so the plan begins with the event, not the building.

Your account manager is the person you deal with from the first message until the report after the event, and there is no extra fee for that work off site. They set up two group chats, one between you and us and one for the crew, collect the arena's delivery times and house rules from you, and turn them into a call sheet that names each person's station, meeting point inside the resort and hours.

On the night, staff meet at a point in the resort well before doors, sign in with their lead and walk the route from the casino floor to your space, so they can direct guests who get lost on the way. Stations are stocked and the brief is repeated before the first fans arrive, and the lead stays in the crew chat until the space is packed up and the last guest has gone.

An extra staff member held for each eight you book — briefed on your space in advance and called in at no charge if someone drops out
Meeting points inside the resort — every call sheet names where the crew gathers and the walk from there to your table or suite
A lead on site and an account manager on call — one person in the arena with your crew and one in the office answering you
A written report after each event — the number of guests reached, stock used, what worked and what to change before the next date

Michelob ULTRA Arena Event Night in Eleven Staffing Steps

The same steps for Aces games, concerts, college basketball and conference keynotes
1
Event Brief
We confirm the event, its start time, your space in the concourse, a suite or a resort room, and what the arena or the organizer allows there, then open the client and crew chats.
2
Roster Picks
You choose staff from profiles. For Aces games we suggest people who follow the team, for Latin concerts Spanish speakers, and for keynotes staff who have worked conferences and business events.
3
Call Sheet
Each person receives a sheet naming their call time, the meeting point inside Mandalay Bay, the walk to your space, the dress code and the phone number of their lead for the night.
4
Delivery Window
Production assistants meet your materials at the time the arena gives for deliveries, move them through the service routes and set the table, display or suite before the crew arrives.
5
Crew Meet-Up
Staff meet their lead in the resort well ahead of doors, sign in, change into uniform and walk the route the guests will take from the casino floor to your space before taking their stations.
6
Product Brief
The lead repeats your key message, the offer, the age rules for anything given out and what staff must never say, then checks that every person can explain it in a single sentence.
7
Doors Open
As fans arrive in the last half hour before the start, every person is at their station, greeting guests, keeping any line tidy and pointing lost guests toward the right section.
8
During the Event
While the game or show is on and the concourse is quiet, the lead rotates breaks, restocks the table and sets up for the crowd that comes out at halftime, the intermission or a changeover.
9
Problems Handled
A missing delivery, a guest list error or a staff member running late is sorted by the lead out of sight of guests, and you are told what happened and what was done in the client chat.
10
Pack-Up
After the crowd leaves, the crew packs your materials, counts the stock that is left and stores or ships it as you asked, leaving the space the way the arena expects to find it.
11
Event Report
The lead sends your account manager the counts, the photos you allowed, guest feedback and notes for the next date, and you receive the report the same night or early the next morning.

Event Staffing Roles at Michelob Ultra Arena

Brand ambassadors greeting fans at an arena concourse table

Our Arena Event Staff run the space you hold in the Michelob ULTRA Arena concourse or a room in the resort. They set the table before doors, greet fans as they come off the casino floor, explain what you are offering in a sentence, keep any line orderly so it never blocks the walkway, count every person who takes part and tidy up between rushes. When the game or show starts and the corridor empties, they restock and get ready for the break.

Consumer Brands and Agencies at Michelob ULTRA Arena

The brands and agencies that book our crews at Michelob ULTRA Arena are mostly consumer companies that want to reach a crowd in a good mood: sportswear and sneaker labels, phone and streaming services, food and snack brands, and drink companies whose category does not clash with the arena's own beer naming deal.

Agencies hire brand ambassadors in Las Vegas for a single Aces game or a whole summer of them, record labels and tour teams host invited guests at concerts, college athletic departments and alumni groups book hosts for the November tournaments, and exhibitors from conferences next door add product demo crews when a keynote is held in the arena.

Eleven8 is an independent staffing agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Michelob ULTRA Arena, Michelob ULTRA or Anheuser-Busch, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, MGM Resorts, the Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA, Players Era, or any team, artist, promoter or event at the venue. These names belong to their owners. We provide event staff to the brands, agencies and hosts that hold space at events there. All marks belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

Las Vegas Aces Game Staff at Michelob ULTRA Arena

The Las Vegas Aces play most of their home games here from May to September, and the team has sold out game after game, so summer evenings bring a full arena of local fans, many of them families and season-ticket holders. Concerts fill the gaps between games, with Latin music tours a big part of the calendar, and suite hosts are booked for those nights as often as table staff.

Why Companies Choose Eleven8 for Michelob ULTRA Arena

Crews Briefed for Each Night's Crowd

The people at an Aces game, a Latin music concert, a college tournament and a keynote are not the same, and staff who treat them alike get ignored. Before each date your crew learns who is coming, how they dress, what they care about and when they arrive, and the lead adjusts the opening line to suit. Season-ticket holders are greeted as regulars, out-of-town fans get clear directions, and conference guests get a short, businesslike pitch that respects the time they have before the next session.

Spanish-Speaking Staff for Latin Concerts

Latin music tours are among the biggest nights on the Michelob ULTRA Arena calendar, and many fans would rather hear your offer in Spanish. When you book bilingual staff we confirm their language in each profile, brief them in both languages and display your key message in both, using wording you have signed off. They switch language with each guest rather than assuming, avoid slang that does not travel between countries, and log sign-ups in the language the guest used, so your follow-up email or text reaches people in a form they will read and answer.

Working Within Resort and Arena Rules

Everything a brand does here takes place on resort property, so the house rules of both the arena and Mandalay Bay apply. Our leads collect those rules from you before the date: delivery hours, what can be handed out, where staff may stand, how food and drink are served through the venue's own catering and which areas are closed to us. Staff follow them without argument, which keeps your relationship with the venue intact for the next booking.

Insured, With Certificates Sent Ahead

Every person we place is covered by our insurance, and the certificate naming the parties your contract lists is sent in advance, so the venue's paperwork is never what holds up your load-in. Staff carry identification, wear the uniform you chose and know that ticketing, security and building entry belong to the arena's own teams, so they never step into those jobs or make promises on the venue's behalf, even when a guest asks them to.

Small Arena Spaces Planned Exactly

With about 12,000 seats, this arena gives brands less room than a stadium does: a table on the concourse, a suite, a club area or a room elsewhere in the resort. We plan the crew to the space you actually hold, mark where each person stands, keep a back store close by and make sure no table or line blocks a walkway. A tight space run well does more for a brand than a large one that nobody is looking after.

Las Vegas Staff Used to Late Finishes

Concerts and fight cards often finish near midnight, and college tournament days run from lunchtime into the night. Our crews live in the Las Vegas valley and are used to these hours; each person has a confirmed way home before the shift starts, whether a car in the staff parking you have arranged, a rideshare or a lift with another crew member. Shift lengths are set so nobody works tired, and on long tournament days we split the crew into two shifts with a handover at the table, so guests in the evening meet staff as fresh as those who greeted the first fans.

Whether you hold a concourse table for one Aces game, a suite for a Latin concert or a room for a November tournament, Eleven8 staffs it with Las Vegas people briefed on that night's crowd. Send the event, the date and the space you hold and we will reply with a plan, a price and staff to choose from.

Top 3.5% of Applicants
We accept about one in every thirty applicants, and those who join are trained on our eleven-step process before they work a Michelob ULTRA Arena event. Each is then matched to your night by experience and manner: the person greeting Aces fans at a family game is not always the one hosting your suite at a concert, and you see both profiles before you confirm the team.
24,821 Active Staff Across North America
Across North America our roster holds 24,821 active staff, and the Las Vegas part of it is large because the city runs events every night. That depth means your crew comes from people already working arenas, clubs and conventions on the Strip, not from a hiring drive started after you call, and a replacement at short notice is someone who has done this job here before.
One Dedicated Account Manager
One account manager handles your booking at Michelob ULTRA Arena from the first message to the report after the event, at no extra cost. They keep your chat separate from the crew's, work out the arena's delivery times and house rules with you, and are the person who answers when you ask about a second date or a whole season of Aces games.
Built-In Backup Coverage Every Event Night
For every eight people you book we hold one more, briefed on your space and product, without charging for them. Should anyone fall ill or get stuck in traffic on the Strip, that person takes the place before fans arrive. On the short walk-in window of an arena night there is no time to call around for help, so the cover is arranged before the day, not on it.
Live Venue and Experiential Event Experience
Our Las Vegas staff have worked arenas, stadium game days, concert tours, nightclubs and festivals across the valley, and many of them also work convention booths during the day. That mix means they know how a crowd behaves before a tip-off or a headline set, how to keep a line moving without making anyone feel rushed, and when to stop talking and let fans get to their seats in time.
On the Ground for the Entire Event Night
A lead stays with your crew from the meet-up in the resort until the space is packed, and your account manager can be reached throughout. When an event starts late, a guest list changes at the last minute or more fans come to the table than expected, they move people, call in the extra staff member or change the plan, and then tell you what they did in the client chat.

Michelob Ultra Arena Staffing Questions

Is Michelob ULTRA Arena the same venue as the Mandalay Bay Events Center? +
Yes. The arena opened with the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino as the Mandalay Bay Events Center and was renamed Michelob ULTRA Arena in 2021. It is the same building inside the same resort, so older directions, event listings and some staff still use the old name. We put both names on call sheets so no one goes looking for a separate venue, and we tell staff to follow the resort's signs for the arena from the casino floor rather than the convention center signs, which lead to a different part of the complex. Guests and crew arriving on the free tram from Excalibur and Luxor follow the same signs.
Can a brand run an activation at a Las Vegas Aces game? +
Yes, but the space comes from the team or the arena, not from us. Brands usually secure a concourse table, a suite, an in-game promotion or a giveaway through a marketing agreement with the Aces or the venue, and we staff whatever that agreement allows. Aces crowds are mostly local: families, groups of friends and season-ticket holders who come to many games, so staff who remember regulars and talk about the team easily do well. Because games have been selling out, the concourse is busiest before tip-off and at halftime, and we plan breaks and restocking around those two peaks.
Where do staff meet before an event at Michelob ULTRA Arena? +
Inside the resort, at a point named on the call sheet, usually near the arena entrance or a service door the venue has given you. The arena has no open plaza or lot of its own to gather in, and the walk from the parking garage or the tram through the casino takes longer than most people expect, so call times include it. Staff who drive use the parking you have arranged or the resort's garage, and others come by rideshare or bus. The lead checks everyone in at the meeting point, hands out any working passes you have supplied and walks the crew to your space together.
Are Spanish-speaking crews available for Latin concerts at Michelob ULTRA Arena? +
Yes. Latin music tours are a large part of the arena's concert calendar, and many fans are more comfortable in Spanish. Las Vegas has a big bilingual workforce, so we can usually fill a crew in which everyone speaks both languages. Tell us when you book and we confirm it in each profile; you can also ask for a short call with a staff member before you decide. We brief the team in both languages and use your signed-off wording for any offer, prize or terms, so nothing about your promotion is translated on the spot or changed by accident.
Can you staff college basketball tournaments like Players Era at Michelob ULTRA Arena? +
Yes. In 2026 the Players Era tournaments use the arena on November 17-19 and again from November 24 to the championship game on November 28, and similar events may follow in later years. Tournament days are long, with several games back to back, two or more fan bases in the building at once and television cameras around the court. We split the crew into a day shift and an evening shift, brief staff on each school playing so they greet every set of fans fairly, and keep your space out of camera paths unless you have agreed otherwise. Players and coaches are never approached.
May staff pour drinks or hand out food samples inside Michelob ULTRA Arena? +
Only in the way the venue allows. Food and drink in the arena and the resort are served through the venue's own catering, so samples are usually arranged through them, and alcohol is poured only by the venue's servers or under their rules. The arena also carries a beer brand's name, so drink categories may be limited by its own agreements; check that with the venue before you plan a drink activation. When samples are allowed, our staff check ID for anything age-restricted, hand out portions as you specify and keep the area clean, and staff working near alcohol hold the Nevada alcohol awareness card where the venue requires it.
How are guests in a Michelob ULTRA Arena suite looked after by your hosts? +
Suite hosts look after the guests you invite to a suite, a club area or a private room. They hold your guest list, greet people by name, hand over the tickets or wristbands you provide, introduce your own team, keep food and drink orders moving with the venue's catering staff and make sure nobody leaves without the gift or follow-up you planned. At a concert they tell guests when the headline set is about to begin, and at a game they know the score and the names on the court.
Do your crews work conference keynotes held in Michelob ULTRA Arena? +
Yes. Some large conferences at the convention center next door use the arena for keynotes and general sessions, and exhibitors or presenting companies sometimes need staff there. Our crews hand out materials or samples at the entrance where the organizer allows it, guide guests from the convention halls to the right door, host a company's invited guests in reserved seats and walk people back to the booth afterwards. Registration, badge checks and seating plans are run by the organizer, so our staff help guests find their way rather than control entry. Dress is business attire, not event uniform, unless you choose otherwise.
