Eleven8 provides event staff at EDC Las Vegas to the drink, tech, fashion and music brands, record labels and agencies building at Las Vegas Motor Speedway each May. In 2026 the festival ran Friday to Sunday, May 15-17, and its three-day passes sold out. In 2027 it changes shape: two weekends for the first time, EDC Dusk on May 14-16 and EDC Dawn on May 21-23, with the same lineup on both and fewer people on each. The festival is a night shift. Gates open in the evening and the music runs until after the sun comes up, so a crew starts when most people are finishing work and leaves at dawn. We plan around that: shifts with a real break in the middle, staff who sleep in the day before their first night, safe transport home in the morning, and rest days between nights for anyone working several. Sampling at three in the morning has its own rhythm too, and our product sampling staff pace stock so the last hours are as well served as the first.
The speedway sits well north of the Strip, and getting there takes planning. Fans arrive by festival shuttle, rideshare and car, and traffic on the roads out builds quickly in the evening, so crews travel early, park in staff areas with passes your team requests, and know their route home. Setup happens in the late-afternoon desert heat, often with strong wind; high winds have shut the festival for a night before. Every build is weighted and wind-checked, and crews carry water through the hot hours before sunset.

EDC Las Vegas Staffing Plan for Dusk-to-Dawn Shifts
At EDC Las Vegas our 11-step process is run as an overnight operation. Each night starts with a build in the evening heat, runs through the dark hours when the crowd is biggest and ends with a strike after sunrise, and every crew has a lead, a rest plan and a ride home before it starts.
From booking to the final report, one account manager handles your EDC Las Vegas program, with our operations office behind them at no extra cost. They pass crew names to your team for festival credentials and parking, agree build times, choose uniforms that work in heat and in the cold early hours, plan who works which nights across one or both weekends, and keep your instructions and the crew's updates in separate chats.

In 2027 EDC Las Vegas fills the city for 12 days. Between the two weekends there are pop-ups and parties, an exhibition in warehouses and galleries, a parade, opening and closing parties for each weekend and an industry summit, and brands add their own pool parties, hotel events and launches. These are daytime and evening jobs in town, not overnight shifts at the speedway, so they get their own crew. Eleven8 takes on roughly one applicant in 30, and for EDC Las Vegas we pick from the people who keep the city's nightlife running: club hosts, bartenders, promoters, DJs and dancers, plus fans who have been going to raves for years. Working through the night is normal for them, dance-floor manners come naturally, and they talk to fans as one of them, not as sales staff.

Shifts are long but include a proper meal break, leads watch for tiredness in the small hours, nobody drives home exhausted, and crews working several nights get rest days between them.
