What Working Events in Las Vegas Actually Looks Like
Las Vegas is unlike any other event market in the world. Nowhere else runs at this volume, at this scale, and at this pace simultaneously. On any given week, the city might host a 50,000-person trade show at the Convention Center, a celebrity residency afterparty at a Strip property, a Fortune 500 product launch in a casino ballroom, and a private gala in a penthouse suite — all requiring professional event staff who can perform at the highest level across wildly different environments.
Eleven8 staffs all of it. Our Las Vegas roster includes performers between shows, hospitality professionals building their careers, students at UNLV and Nevada State, and locals who want flexible income without a fixed schedule. Shifts are posted weekly and claimed on a first-come basis — you control how much or how little you work.
Requirements:
-Have valid work authorization and SSN card in the USA.

-Ability to lift and carry up to 44 lbs (for server, PA, and bartender positions)

Brand Ambassador - Las Vegas
Product sampling, demos, and promotional activations across Vegas venues. You're generating buzz, collecting leads, and making brands look good. Extroverts with sales experience crush this role.
Location: Las Vegas (The Strip, Fremont Street, Convention Center, Henderson, Summerlin, Paradise)
Waitstaff - Las Vegas
Fine dining service at casino galas, private events, and corporate functions. You need to know which fork is which and how to read a room. Previous upscale restaurant experience helps.
Location: Las Vegas (Bellagio, Wynn/Encore, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Venetian/Palazzo, MGM Grand)
Bartender - Las Vegas
Craft cocktails and high-volume service at whatever the event calls for. Casino ballrooms, rooftop parties, convention receptions. Must know your classics and handle rush periods without falling apart.
Location: Las Vegas (Strip casino venues, Downtown, Henderson country clubs, off-Strip event spaces)
Production Assistant - Las Vegas
Load-in, setup, and strike. You're building the infrastructure that makes events possible. Expect early calls, heavy lifting, and working alongside union crews on the big shows.

We only consider bartenders with at least 2 years of previous experience. Bartending is a skilled profession, and many of our bartenders attended bartending school before applying.

Our Las Vegas rates are competitive within the local professional hospitality and events market, which — given the city's concentration of luxury properties and high-volume events — sets a strong standard. Pay is determined by your role, the specific event, and your experience level. Rate increases come through performance: consistent reliability and demonstrated leadership ability move you into higher pay brackets faster in Vegas than in most other markets, simply because the volume of events makes your track record visible quickly. All pay is direct deposit, weekly.

Our Las Vegas bookings cover a wide geographic and venue range. On the Strip, we regularly staff events at Bellagio, Wynn, Encore, Aria, the Cosmopolitan, Venetian, Palazzo, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and Caesars Palace. Convention-focused work centers on the Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Caesars Forum, and the Sands Expo. Arena and stadium events include T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Off-Strip, we cover Henderson country clubs and event venues, Summerlin properties, Downtown Las Vegas, and the Paradise area. Fremont Street activations are a regular part of our brand ambassador bookings.

All Eleven8 Las Vegas positions are shift-based — no guaranteed hours, no fixed schedules, no traditional employment structure. Shifts are posted weekly and claimed on a first-come basis. Some team members work five days a week during peak convention season; others take a handful of high-value shifts per month. The model is built around the reality that Las Vegas attracts people with diverse, non-traditional schedules — and we've structured the work to match.
